猴子的小窝

I have been abroad for several days. It can be very awful for a Chinese to have never seen any Chinese domestic news for a long time whatever News Feeds or Xinwen Lianbo from CCTV or China Central Television.

Some Chinese people do not know how it can be if you are abroad without state TV, but just keep speaking ill of the state TV.  In fact, the China in western media is not your China. That's no strange that some western people do not know residents in Taiwan and Mainland China share the common language and habits.

In this week's class, I learnt the difference between the two kinds of quote symbols, and some new words. Europeans always know a large number of languages such as English, Spanish, French, and Deutsche, which is absolutely amazing to me, who can only speak Chinese and English. The Swisses in our class can speak English, German, Swizz German, and French. They have different foreign languages in their primary schools and high schools.

Last Friday, I attended a graduation ceremony for some students. It was very cool for schools to make a public graduation ceremony. I hope that one day our school's graduation ceremony will be open for everyone.

Our old class was cancelled, due to some students' graduation or normally courses-change according to their programs. Our last 4 students were added into an intermediate level class temporarily, which was at lower level than we should be in. This morning, there were about 16 new students waiting in the garden for new students test, which took the whole day because of the big number of students.

Our teacher today, Andrew, was an old gentle British. He shared a lot of vivid experiences to us. He was very easygoing.

I am looking forward to tomorrow's course in our level.

During last week, I have finished the designs of surveys of our Society Research and Major Research. I have also finished the Monkey Sync.

我在国外已经好几天了。对于一个中国人来说，长时间接触不到国内新闻（不论是央视的新闻联播）都是一件很令人感到煎熬的事情。

一些中国人不知道在国外没有国家电视台会怎么样，只是继续着盲目的批评国家台。事实上，西方媒体中的中国不是你的中国，这也就不奇怪为什么一些西方人不知道台湾居民和大陆居民有共同的语言和习惯。

在这个星期的课里，我学习了两种不同的引号之间的差异，和一些新单词。欧洲人总是会很多门语言，例如：英语、西班牙语、法语、德语，这对于我这个只会英语、汉语的人来说绝对是一件令人惊奇的事情。我们班里的瑞士同学会说英语、德语、瑞士德语。他们在小学、中学学不同的外语。

上个周五，我参加了一些同学的毕业典礼。搞公开的毕业典礼是一个好主意，真希望有朝一日我们学校的毕业典礼也能对公众开放。

我们旧的班因为一些人的毕业和常规转班而被取消，我们剩下的四个学生被临时加到了一个中级班，这个班的级别比我们应该在的班级别要略低。这个早上，花园里有大概16个人在等着新生分级测试，这个测试因为学生众多而花了整整一天。

我们今天的老师安卓是一个年长的英国绅士，他跟我们分享了很多有趣的经历，他非常平易近人。

我很期待明天我们级别的课程。

在这个星期，我完成了人文社会实践和Major Research的问卷制作工作，还完成了猴哥的同步系统。

The Monkey was busy in his Monkey Sync these days, which can update his micro-blog and blog in several Facebook-like websites automatically.

After last change, Monkey Sync had worked very well for a long time. It posted the posts in Monkey's House to Facebook, Renren, Qzone and Baidu, and sent the statuses from Twitter to Renren, Qzone and Baidu.

There was still a problem that Monkey Sync 's code was a little bit messy because it was modified on a open-source code, which had some failures at its very beginning. So, Monkey Sync was being slower. Because of those failures, the system might be obstructed by some errors raised by network status.

In this modification, the Monkey added the module for Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitter, and solved a main problem about Twitter 's Rate Limitation, which was not noticed and considered by the first author.

To reduce unnecessary calculations, the Monkey uses MemCached. To get access to Twitter without limitation, the Monkey uses OAuth Libraries, which makes his work much more easier than before.

The Monkey changed the outline of the whole system, which will make it stronger. In this project, the Monkey learnt MemCached and a lot of libraries he had not known.

Thanks to Google App Engine, he could practice Python and learnt a lot.

这几天猴哥在为他的同步系统而忙碌，这个系统能够自动更新他的微博们。

在上一次改动之后，猴哥的同步系统曾经正常工作了很长时间，它把“猴子的小窝”里的帖子转发到Facebook、人人网、QQ空间和百度空间，把Twitter状态转发到人人网、QQ空间和百度空间中。

但是这里仍然有一个问题，由于这个系统是基于一个开源代码修改而来的，而这个代码最最开始的时候就有一些缺陷，所以猴哥的这个系统代码比较凌乱。因此同步系统越来越慢，有的时候还会因为网络状况的一些小错误而被阻碍运行。

在这次修改中，猴哥增加了针对新浪微博的模块，解决了Twitter“速率限制”这个未被原作者注意和考虑到的问题。

为了减少不必要的计算量，猴哥使用了MemCached；为了获得不受限制的Twitter数据，猴哥使用了OAuth库，大大节省了他的工作量。

猴哥改变了整个系统的结构，以便使这个系统更加健壮。在这次的项目中，猴哥学习了很多。

I have learnt a lot about the differences between eastern and western cultures. But the past 3 days gave me a fabulous experience to how big the differences are.

My English teacher in China told me that western people would say "bless you" after someone's sneezing. But I found it quite difficult for me to say that when others snooze, because I have no religious belief, which made me feel very strange when I was saying "blessing". So I always avoid myself sneezing to prevent that embarrassing situation.

Western people take showers in the morning, while eastern ones usually do that before sleeping. Math is the most hated class here, but it is not the worst subject to Chinese, and as for me, it is the most interesting class.

Nearly everyone here have tried a lot of jobs, but I can say most of Chinese college students in my age have never had internships as well as volunteer works. Luckily, I had a lot of chances to be volunteer, but maybe I can try some internships in the future.

Our teacher Tom is quite active. He was jumping in the class to show us his work when he had a job in an Italian hotel. No Chinese teacher can do that unless you were in kindergartens.  They just can be more boring than others.

Today is my first day to attend courses abroad. It was quite nervous to me.

After my arrival at 8:40, I went into the Clevar House and, as I was told, sat outside a classroom waiting for the teacher.

There was a handsome teacher in that classroom, and he was just having coffee. When he got out of the room, I told him I was a new student there. He helped me to find the correct place I should be waiting. (Gosh!)

It took about one-class time to give us, the new students, a test. And then, we were led to our own class.

I was led to a upper-intermediate class. People there were from China, Switzerland, German and Australia. We had some writing, and my true story went too too long. My teacher Tom told me that if I had to write on exam, I should make up one or in the other words, lie.

It was quite amazing to me as I had always thought that should be done only in China for CCE. His reason was a good one, that the true story could not go perfect in the limited time and words during exams. I also made a lot of mistakes, which made me think if I should take the writing extra course.

Another amazing fact is that 'thus' and 'overwhelmingly' are not proper expressions in normal essays according to Tom, because they are very very old expression and only used in very formal way. That is far different from what our teachers in any kind of course have told me in China.

At the end, we had a tricky game to avoid directly saying yes or no to such questions. It was a very tricky one and made laughing go across the room.

When we checked the answers of a game, Tom asked 'somebody took a shower this morning' to answer. Suddenly, I realized they took a shower in the morning...

On the way back, I just tried to walk with my own. It was not a short journey actually there. Thanks to the tall buildings in the City so that I could get the direction.

I bought the Smart Rider in a small shop of the train station. The clerks were Chinese speaking English. But their accent was quite hard for me to get understood. So we had to turn to speak Chinese.

As I said in last post, we got a big problem in the mysqldump double encoding bug (Bug #28969).

Now, if I just have a SQL file, which is double encoded by mysqldump, and the original database was destroyed, how can I restore the database?

The way is quite sample, but always get confusion because of the expression.

1. Restore the SQL file into MySQL, and you will get a messy database.
2. Use mysqldump again to export a SQL file, which is decoded.

    mysqldump -h "$DB_HOST" -u "$DB_USER" -p"$DB_PASSWORD" \
   --opt --quote-names  --skip-set-charset \
   --default-character-set=latin1 "$DB_NAME"   > /tmp/temp.sql

3. Restore the decoded SQL file into MySQL.

Your database now comes back!

正如我在上一篇日志说的那样，我们因为mysqldump(Bug #28969)的重复编码漏洞，遇到了一个大问题。

现在，加入我有一个被mysqldump重复编码的SQL文件，而原始数据库已经被摧毁，如何恢复原始数据库呢？

方法非常简单，只是它过去的表述比较容易造成误解。

1. 恢复SQL文件到MySQL，得到充斥着乱码的数据库；
2. 再次使用mysqldump输出一个解码的SQL文件；

    mysqldump -h "$DB_HOST" -u "$DB_USER" -p"$DB_PASSWORD" \
   --opt --quote-names  --skip-set-charset \
   --default-character-set=latin1 "$DB_NAME"   > /tmp/temp.sql

3. 恢复这个新的SQL文件到MySQL中。

你的数据库现在回来了！

The Monkey's House had been down for 3 weeks.

Hosting

Our former service provider deleted all our files and data in that hosting without any notification before, because of, they said, our 'violation' to the T.O.S. ,which has not been found by our staffs by now.

The WWW service via HTTP was failed in June 16, and our site monitor alarmed this severe problem.

The Monkey was around the final exam so that he did not have time to handle that very soon.

Fortunately, there is a fresh backup.

Domain

Coins always have two sides. The domain 'Shk3.PP.RU' was being expired, due to the new regulation.

In July 6, the domain was not delegated while the user were transferred to a Russian page of the NIC.

There was still a big problem that the Monkey 's profile in the RU-Center, the new NIC of Russian domains, was incorrect. The Monkey tried to write a letter with his passport to change the profile into correct one.

The RU-Center and the Old Monkey eventually helped the Monkey in the domain renewal, thus the domain 'Shk3.PP.RU' was re-delegated yesterday.

The Monkey and his old friend PrinceWZZ now host a server together, which is called 'Princeton Monkey' by the Monkey. This server enables the Monkey more powers and provides him a bigger stage to perform his web ability.

Database

Blips came again. The backup of database was made by 'mysqldump', which had a bug making double encoding to the data, according to Bug #28969.

So the restored database was filled with messy data. Still luckily, the Monkey found the solution by restoring-mysqldumping-restoring.

The Monkey also found a very cool technology website StakOverFlow, in which people encouraged the Monkey:

猴子的小窝宕机3个星期了。

我们上一个空间提供商在没有通知我们的情况下，删除了我们所有的文件和数据。因此我们的万维网HTTP服务在6月16日中断。

猴哥由于临近期末考试，无法很快的解决这个问题。幸运的是我们有一个近期的备份。

事情总是两面的，域名Shk3.PP.RU因为新的域名规定，马上就要到期了。7月6日，域名被中止并转向到一个俄国域名信息中心的俄文页面。

在域名管理机关RU-Center，猴哥的个人信息还有一个严重的问题，他为此把护照的复印件发送给了管理机关以重新获得域名的管理权。

猴哥的老朋友PrinceWZZ现在与猴哥合租一个猴哥称作Princeton Monkey的服务器，这个服务器使猴哥有更大的余地展示。

问题又来了，数据库的备份由于生成软件的漏洞(Bug #28969)而把数据重复编码，导致恢复后的数据库充斥着混乱的数据。有一次幸运的是，猴哥找到了一个通过恢复-备份-恢复的解决方案。

本文是北京理工大学德育答辩开题报告。

为教育和引导一年级学生认真思考规划自己的大学生活，学校将在2010级本科生中开展德育开题工作[1]。作者因此对其十余年学生生活进行了反思，并对未来的四年给予了规划。

1 回顾过去

自信

高中刚开始的时候，作者因为对新的环境不适应、对自己没自信而失去了很多机会；也是因为上述原因，作者放弃了初中已经养成的优秀的学习方法，而借鉴了某些同学的不好的方法。

坚持

高二下半学期，作者的情况其实很好，学习回归了适合自己的方法，各科自信也在不断恢复，但是由于50天的暑假没有维持之前的方法、节奏、目标，开学的时候在学习的节奏上面又被“归零”。

统筹

高三刚开始的一个星期，正值开学考试结束，学习的劲头很浓。但是，因为作者比较喜欢发散思考，在周末时间利用上就出了问题，写作业的时间比别人要长好几倍。之后因为参加信息学奥林匹克联赛和“明天小小科学家”奖励活动，又一次打乱了节奏，导致后面讲义不断的积压，再加上宿舍作息时间的约束，作者很长时间都没有翻过来身。后来因为补讲义的缘故，听课效率出现下降。

独立思考

模拟考试中作者总在一类问题上面出错，老师自然而然地认为是知识点的问题，建议作者补知识点。而实际上，这些问题都是一些审题上的问题，这应该属于习惯问题而不是知识点问题，因此需要的不是旧题练习而是新题练习。作者没有考虑其建议是否适合自己，盲目补习知识点，导致成绩一直不理想。

理性分析

作者曾经进行过知识点的失分统计，不过数据相关性不大，而根据题型进行统计，发现相关性很大。二模理综考试前，作者觉得没有什么知识点可以复习了，于是分析过去的失误原因；开始找一些新题，针对作者常错的题型练习审题。最后发现，这是正确的[2]。

努力与收获

作者所就读的高中有严格的宿舍纪律卫生管理制度，作者通过每天的坚持不懈的努力，连续三年五个学期被评为优秀住宿生；担任宿舍长期间，还被评为优秀宿舍长。作者就读的高中的课间操有悠久的历史，作者每天认真上操、认真完成每一项练习，在高中最后一次课间操中被认定为课间操标兵。这一切都让作者看到了每日的努力最终会取得回报。

个人的力量

作者曾任所在高中的学生代表大会代表，任期内见证了修改校规、质询的过程；由于学生代表的努力，学校逐步放宽对移动通信设备的限制、更新了教室电教电视、安装了电梯、增强了对食堂的监管。这一切都体现了个人的力量，使作者懂得改变外界环境的可能性。

2 展望未来

大学生要实现理想，就应当树立独立生活意识，克服消极依赖思想，充分利用大学的美好时光，努力学习科学文化知识，打牢专业基础，锻炼能力，提高素质，完善自我[3]。

• 认真学习好基础课程，打好数学和物理学基础，并在数学和物理学的一些领域有自己的认识。
• 学好专业课程，将学习的专业课程与实际应用联系起来，并建立一套自己的知识与逻辑体系，建立学科之间的联系，涉足一些交叉学科的问题。
• 积极参加学校和社会活动，努力锻炼与他人合作的能力，锻炼在社会上生存的能力。本科前两年要有兼职工作经历。
• 积极参加学术活动，聆听学术报告，关注参加学术会议的机会，尽早涉足专业领域、拓宽知识面。
• 发展既有兴趣，利用课余时间旁听离散数学、组合数学、算法分析、数值分析等课程。返回中关村校区以后，根据情况可到其他学校旁听感兴趣的课程[4]。
• 在大学本科第二年级结束时，应通过英语考试，为研一出国交流做准备。
• 锻炼抗压能力和统筹规划与并行作业能力。

本文是北京理工大学形势与政策课考核作业。

摘要

本文从多个角度指出“就业难”问题的本质是知识被束之高阁、一定程度远离社会生活，并因高校扩招速度大于经济结构转型速度而凸显出来。本文还指出“用工荒”问题的本质是我国经济结构主体为劳动密集型企业，而劳动者的追求在经济发展下开始转向个人发展和待遇，这一问题被金融危机出现出来。本文还展示了在市场调节下“用工荒”如何促进经济结构转型并解决“就业难”问题。

1 导论˜

近年来我国许多城市出现了“用工荒”问题，用工单位在春节后无法招到足够的工人，导致企业无法开工运行。与此同时，“就业难”问题也呈现了愈演愈烈之势，不少大学毕业生毕业后无法找到工作，滞留在学校或者家庭中，占用很大一部分教育资源。

“稀缺的”技术工人在选择职业的时候犹豫不决，综合考虑企业的前景和自己的发展及待遇[XH2010]，企业又不愿意提升待遇；而另一方面，“泛滥的”大学生在选择工作的时候总是因为工资待遇过低而放弃已有的机会[XH2010]。

2 “就业难”问题的成因

2.1 大学生

大学生选择就业的时候认为自己的接受过高等教育，就应该比最多只接受过高职教育的技术工人薪酬高，就应该受到用人企业的重视，就应该是“卖方市场”——自己说了算。这一种高高在上的心态，首先就对职业的选择设定了一个阈值，导致一些不符合这些预设条件的职位被前置过滤。

2010年2月27日在四川蜀都英汇人力资源市场、中国成都人才市场举行的两场针对大学生的招聘会上，两家人才市场共提供了7000多个就业岗位，吸引了1.1万多名求职者入场。现场提供了文秘、行政管理、销售等大量适合大学生的工作岗位，但绝大多数学生忙活了半天，依然没有找到工作[XH2010]。这其中就有大学生主观排斥一些他们认为与大学生身份不相符职位的因素。

2.2 用工单位

由于“用工荒”，用工单位无法以低价找到充足的技术工人，因此他们要么希望将大学生招为技术工人，要么希望减少大学生从事非“稀缺的”技术工人岗位的工资待遇[XR2011]，这便与大学生们的心理预期分道扬镳。

2.3 家庭教育

为什么会造成大学生的这种排斥心理呢？改革开放以来，我国的经济水平提高了，经济基础决定上层建筑，我国国民素质也同时有了提高，再加上我国推行的人才强国战略和科教兴国战略，我国已经形成了崇尚科学的风气。因此孩子们从小便被灌输了知识至上的思想，大学即是知识的殿堂。

然而，由于我国贫富差距较大、城乡差距较大、地域差距较大，再加上我国几千年的封建统治，使很多人有一种发自内心地等级感。过去，等级的划分是依靠封建统治中神话的统治者的威信；改革开放过程中，因为财富的增长是人们看到了财富的力量，财富便一段时间内成为了等级感；而现在这一种等级感则是一种被神化的科学的力量。

从而，我们不难看出为什么我们当今的家长会那么急功近利地让孩子上一个好的学校，会倾其毕生能力使孩子接受一个良好的教育。为了让孩子去一个好一点的幼儿园，不惜花大笔的金钱；为了让孩子接受良好的义务教育，不惜在学校周边买房；为了让孩子在高中得到一个良好的学习环境，不惜于在学校周边租房——难怪学校周边的房价是这样的昂贵。

因为家长希望孩子通过更深的知识在社会中步入一个高的“等级”。这种社会整体的氛围对孩子们会有耳濡目染的影响，使他们有一种天生的优越感。
因此他们会出现这样的主管排斥心理。

2.4 家长

同样，家长也不希望自己花大气力培养的“高等级”人从事所谓的“低级”工作，他们会在孩子就业的时候给予直接的压力，或者造成潜在的压力。

2.5 基础教育

另一方面，在基础教育阶段由于高考制度的存在，考入大学毫无疑问成为了一项无比重要的任务，在这十二年的基础教育阶段，大学被不断地重复、不断地神化，于是考上大学的这些大学生们便毫无疑问地有了一种优越感。

2.6 高等教育

高等学校因为社会的重视，往往也有一种高高在上的优越，因此从这里培养出来的学生自然也具有了这种天生的优越感。

同时高校不断扩招，而我国的经济结构中智力密集型企业还没有增长到与高考培养总量匹配，因此会出现一个劳动力市场上“供大于求”的问题，一定程度上使上面潜在的问题凸显了出来。

小结

我们可以看出，“就业难”主要是意识层面的问题，具体一点是教育和社会舆论方面的片面、盲目导致的，再加上高校扩招速度大于经济结构转型速度，引起了“供大于求”，使这些问题凸显了出来。

3 “用工荒”问题的成因

3.1 技术工人

随着中国改革开放的不断深化，技术工人通过自己的辛勤劳动积累的财富越来越多。经济基础决定上层建筑，当他们拥有了一定的财富的时候，便会考虑自己的发展、社会保障等权利。他们毫无疑问拥有所在行业的竞争力，因此技术工人关注自身的发展和待遇是社会经济发展的趋势，是无法改变的。

3.2 用工单位

我国改革开放初期，因为劳动力成本低，迅速的在国外开辟了市场，而出现“用工荒”的这些用工单位大多是劳动密集型企业[XR2011]，他们竞争力就是低价的劳动力，因此提升工人的工资待遇必然引起他们竞争力的丧失。再加上国际金融危机阴影尚未退去，这些外向型企业无力为工人提升待遇，更无法保证其稳定性。

小结

我们可以看出，“用工荒”是社会发展的必定趋势造成的、是劳动密集型企业的必定结果，国际金融危机是其助推器，这一现象会促使我国加速经济结构转型和劳动者待遇的提高[XR2011]。

4 二者之间的相互作用

目前的“用工荒”会加剧用工单位的劳动力紧张，并进一步引起资金流动紧张，导致其招工待遇不断降低，促使“就业难”现象加剧。

在这个过程中有一些企业会因为招不到工而消失，有一些大学生会找不到工作。在这种类似于生物学中“自然选择”的作用下，智力密集型企业会留下来，并带动其他劳动密集型企业加速转型、提升劳动者待遇；能够放低姿态选择低待遇职位的大学生，会在工作中不断积累经验，提升自己相对于其他大学生的竞争力。

同时，因为企业的经济结构加速转型，大学生这些高素质人才的“需求”会不断增加，其就业状况便会一定程度的改善。这时前面那一些经过锻炼的有经验的大学生便能够找到更好的工作，得到更好的待遇。

5 结论

我国目前遇到的“用工荒”问题是我国目前经济结构发展的必由之路，因金融危机而凸显，将促进我国经济结构转型、产业升级，提升我国劳动者的地位。

我国目前遇到的“就业难”问题是我们社会上片面追求地位，把知识地位无限提升引起的，我国高校扩招速度大于经济结构转型速度是其“导火索”，这将促进我们对知识与社会生活关系的重新审视。

在“用工荒”促进的经济结构转型下，“就业难”问题会逐渐得到解决。
